Our Mission

The mission of our organization is to provide a medium for Eritrean students and professionals worldwide to network with one another and to engage in resource exchange, continued mentorship, and intellectual support and discourse.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to provide a platform for mentorship and continual growth in our community. We understand that there are many students that seek opportunities to connect, to communicate, and to network with gifted professionals. Conversely, there are many professionals eager to provide mentorship and assistance to such students. EriSPN is the bridge that connects Eritrean students and Eritrean professionals so that together they can uplift our community and reach the next level of success.

Our Goals

To fulfill our purpose by:
Providing resources for informational exchange
Offering tips for success at our annual networking conference
Partnering with affiliate organizations to support our members
To provide support by providing our members guidance and information in the following areas:
Career-building skills
College recruitment
Dealing with socio-cultural concerns
Internships
Job opportunities
Career and Social Networking exchanges

The History

Our organization was first established in September 15, 2006. We began as a group through the online social network "Facebook." EriSPN started with only four members (Eyoel Gebreyesus, Amanuel Kehasse, Bisirat Hagos, and Rahwa Neguse) who recognized and sought to address the lack of much needed structure of support and networking abilities among Eritrean Students and Professionals. Today, EriSPN is humbled by and proud of its growing membership and its contribution to our Eritrean community.
